Back to School Drive
Every August, LuskinOIC hosts our much-anticipated Back2School Giveaway at our Downtown Los Angeles location and the International Children’s Program Calexico clinic.
Book Drive
LuskinOIC's Book Drive focuses on gathering books that will be distributed to our patients and families during LuskinOIC’s Annual Book Giveaway every March.
Food Drive
Our Holiday Food Drive aims to collect essential food items to create food baskets, carefully curated with love and care by our dedicated volunteers.

At LuskinOIC, we welcome donations in the form of gift cards. We often use these gift cards to express appreciation and recognition to our patients, dedicated volunteers, and hardworking staff who make our organization thrive with their commitment and support. We also allocate gift cards to support our collection drives, such as LuskinOIC's Annual Back2School Drive.

Team Building
At LuskinOIC, we offer exciting offsite volunteering opportunities. Unite with your team to help prepare giveaways such as backpacks, teddy bears, bikes, and stem boxes for children.
How to Volunteer with LuskinOIC:
- Email OICvolunteers@mednet.ucla.edu to express interest in volunteering
- Understand our requirements:
- Agree to our time commitments:
- A minimum 100 lifetime hours
- Most volunteers commit to one weekly shift: Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Minimum age of 14 years
- Proof of negative TB (Tuberculosis) test taken within the last 90 days, and vaccination and boost for COVID-19
- Agree to our time commitments:
- Applications will be sent via email to those who complete requirements above
- Must attend a mandatory volunteer orientation, held in February, June, July, and September
